Ahmad Zia Hamidi

HCPC-Registered Biomedical Scientist

Ahmad leads Biomed Laboratory Ltd as its Founder, CEO and Managing Director, and is an HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientist.

His professional background spans biomedical science, diagnostic laboratory practice, medical information and the pharmaceutical sector.

He sets the scientific and operational direction of Biomed Laboratory, with a strong focus on quality, professional laboratory practice and developing practical opportunities for future laboratory professionals.

The team you’ll be training with.

Laboratory assistants and science communicators who work at the bench every day, and bring that same practical standard into every training session.

Ahzam Ahzam

Medical Laboratory Assistant

MSc Biomedical Science graduate from the University of Salford, with a BSc in Industrial Chemistry from NED University. Ahzam has experience across biomedical science, histopathology, haematology, microbiology, molecular diagnostics and pharmaceutical quality control.

At Biomed Laboratory, he supports practical laboratory training across Histopathology, Haematology and Microbiology, with experience in tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, staining, quality control, laboratory documentation and SOP-compliant working.

Pallavi Baria

Medical Laboratory AssistantAdvanced Molecular & Microbiology Training

Pallavi holds MSc degrees in Healthcare Leadership from BPP University and Medical Technology from Sardar Patel University, supported by a BSc in Medical Technology. Her experience spans blood sciences, histopathology, haematology, biochemistry and microbiology across the UK and India.

At Biomed Laboratory, Pallavi works as a Medical Laboratory Assistant and supports practical training in Advanced Molecular and Microbiology. Her laboratory experience includes specimen reception, microtomy, staining, blood science workflows, LIMS, equipment handling and quality control.

Rozhina Hassankhani

Marketing ExecutiveFormer Advanced Molecular Trainee

First Class Neuroscience graduate from King’s College London with experience across scientific research, advanced molecular laboratory techniques and science communication.

Rozhina first joined Biomed Laboratory as an Advanced Molecular trainee, gaining practical experience in cell culture, PCR, gel electrophoresis, Western blotting, molecular cloning and CRISPR-Cas9. She later joined the team as Marketing Executive, where she manages scientific and educational content across Biomed’s digital platforms and supports social media strategy, website development, marketing and visual communication.

Her combined scientific and trainee experience allows her to communicate Biomed’s work from both a technical and student perspective.
